Not Happy with Aweber or GetResponse?
EmailAces may fit your needs.
The main limitation I have with Aweber and GetResponse is they don't allow me to directly import my leads into the database even thru they are previously opt-in. Aweber and GetResponse required my leads to reconfirm themselves again whereas EmailAces allows us to import leads directly as long as they have valid IP address.
So if you are migrating your mailing list to a autoresponder service, EmailAces will allow you to import your current mailing list much easier as compared to Aweber and GetResponse.
EmailAces has 3 pricing plan.

I hate AWeber. They charged me $49 for 23XX subscribers with 3XX who has already unsubscribed. I've asked them very nicely that I didn't know that I will be charged for people who has unsubscribed as well and asked if there could be a refund or something since nobody told me that I was going to be charged for unsubscribed people as well.
AWeber just sux big time. They were not willing to help at all and said that since we charge accordingly, it's your fault and there is nothing we will do.

I am new to these area & went with Get Response. Just got everything working and they did a big upgrade. I have had to shut it down on the day I was to launch my Newsletter. My letters are all messed up, the editor has stoppe working and I can't get a fix after 1 week. I am looking at alternatives to get going again.

Only Aweber (I use Profollow, an Aweber reseller with the older, better pricing-model) has easy integration with third-party software like shopping carts (Paypal, Google Checkout, etc.).
Getresponse doesn’t have any third-party software integration. You can verify this in their forums under “feature requests” updated January 2009.

Hi Ken,
I enjoyed reading your lens. I use both AWeber and GetResponse and I like both of them. I pay my membership in AWeber annually, which is much cheaper than the monthly payment. You might want to mention this option in your lens. I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these autoresponders in my newsletter Here.
I vote for AWeber, but GetResponse has its own advantages, so it's almost a tie for me.

I use GetResponse and as far as I am concerned it is working fine. With that said I have heard that the delivery rate is much lower using GetResposen - but I don't know.
