Getting cheap wedding ideas
You were so happy and excited when the love of your life first proposed to you, but once you started to plan for the wedding, it seemed that you will never be able to get married due to the high costs involved. Does that sound like you?
Don't despair! It's possible to plan for an exciting and beautiful wedding day without breaking the bank. Here are some cheap wedding ideas that you can use:

Some cheap wedding ideas:
The reception venue: Have your wedding reception outdoors -- ask if you could use a friend or family member's house, especially one with a very nice house and garden. Arrange for cleaning services to clean up after the wedding.The wedding dress: Rather rent a dress than have one made at an extravagant cost, or scan the auction websites like eBay for a secondhand one.
Bridesmaid's dresses: Consider buying the bridesmaids' dresses at a store, instead of having them made -- this will also be a big money-saver. Another advantage is that they can be worn again after the wedding.
Catering: The catering can also become very expensive. Think about alternatives, such as having it at a restaurant (if you have a small number of guests), a buffet dinner, a finger dinner, or even a picnic.
Photography: Get a photographer that shoots digitally, so there are no proofs to approve first. Just make sure that you can get the high resolution digital images from the photographer before you book him or her. The photographer needs to releases all right to the images, and provide all images on DVD without watermarks. You can then have the best photos printed very cheaply at a digital printing kiosk.
Wedding album: You need to get the photos in digital format. You can then use a self-publishing website like Lulu.com, where you can upload your photos to and design your own wedding album with your own photos. The website will have your album printed in a professional glossy format with the type of cover you specify and mail it to you. Best of all, you friends and family can also order their own copies of the wedding album directly from the website.
Wedding cake: Instead of having a traditional wedding cake, have a variety of smaller cakes, such as chocolate cake, etc.
The drinks: Have champagne and fruit juice for the tables, but provide a bar where guests who want to drink alcohol or other soft drinks can buy their own drinks.
Invitations: Rather print your own invitations than having them done at a print shop. You can get invitation kits from a local store and print them out on your own inkjet printer - and they usually look absolutely professional.
The music: Instead of an expensive band, use your iPod or mp3-player with pre-defined playlists and set it up to play through a hi-fi system at the reception.

- Great lens that is on point. A wedding can be inexpensive and not cheap. Using resources like this lens for ideas is a great start. With research and planning, you can look like you spent a million bucks, but did not. My tip to save money is for couples to use the 'Honeymoon Travel Registry' . The couple can choose what they want and the guests can help pay for it.
