It took me awhile, but after accidently bumping one of my lenses by mistake, I discovered I could rate my lens. Quite frankly, it is not, nor ever has been, my practice to rate or vote for myself for anything. In a lot of venues, people are expected to rate their own work. Is this the case with rating one's lens? What is squid protocol concerning this? If it is expected, I would only want to do what is right.

Answer: The way the star rating system is set up, you should not be able to rate your own lenses. If you are able to rate your lenses, it would mean you have a bug.

I'm pretty content with the features squidoo has actually. Managing groups is a chore though - I don't get why we need a greasemonkeyscript to get an edit button on a group page. Specific giant features? I'd rather see some of the existing things being done better - like really featuring all the LOTD lenses on the LOTD blog.
