"When we admit our sins to the Lord, He will clean our hearts. Then they will be shiny, fresh and ready to be loved and be able to love others," Frank continued. Next the angel said, "Follow me, Sophia." So I followed into a room where dirty hearts were made clean. It looked a lot like a car wash. Hearts went in dirty and after repenting and receiving God's forgiveness, they came out clean on the other end. It was amazing!

- Hi Sarah,
I have been thinking about writing a book about children who struggle with testing and academics. I have a 9 yr old who is smart, but he struggles with testing and studying things that he finds "boring." I found that his struggles became my struggles. I felt like I was reliving the 3rd grade along with him. After much prayer ................he is improving and I no longer feel like I'm in the 3rd grade any more.
Thank you for reinforcing this idea for a future book. If you want to contribute ideas (or details) you'd think would be helpful for your son to read in a future Giggleheart book please let me know. I'd love more input from you.

- I have never read your book, but I have a third grade child, and he has severe test anxiety. Maybe you could write a book about fears at school or frustrations with learning.

- A Heart Ready to Fly is truly a fantastic book for kids of all ages! I couldn't put it down! The book is extremely relevant for children today. The lessons are fun and easy to understand. The author uses ideas like the "heart wash" to teach children about the amazing gift of salvation. Kids today will definitely be able to relate with the star of the book, 8-year-old Sophia Rose. Sophia Rose has a bad attitude and is annoyed with her little brother. However, Jackie takes Sophia Rose on an exciting airplane adventure and teaches her how following God can make us truly joyful! You can't help but to smile and giggle as you read this book. I think this book would be a great resource in any home, church, library, or children's small group. Well done! I can't wait for the next book!

- I think and believe this book (A Heart Ready To Fly) is an amazing book for children, students, Sunday school teachers, parents reading it to their precious ones. It's very education to help our children focus on the most important things in life and not waist their lives and this book will teach your children how to trust God, respect for others, discernment, and know how to communicate with God's angels. This is a must read and I recommend to everyone who loves children and care for their well being to get a copy and be a blessing to a child who desperately needs love and direction. Thank you very much Jackie for allowing God to use you for you have been a blessing to the body of Christ. I know the Spirit of God is in you and God is working through you mightily. Stay encourage and continue to trust God and do all the things He has called you to do and he will give you the desires of your heart. May your heart be full of joy, peace, and abundance of life.

"Lady D" from San Diego says...First we are introduced to Sophia Rose Giggleheart who is 8 1/2 years old and loves all animals. You just know that every young girl can relate to that. Then we learn of Sophia's brother, Luke Michael Giggleheart who is 6 1/2 and annoys her to pieces. Doesn't this sound like your every day, down to earth family with sibling rivalry? Together the two of them take a plane trip from California to Michigan and so the fun begins!
As this adventurous tale unfolds, Sophia meets Frank and by the sound of his name you'd think he would be just your average Joe kind of guy but no, Frank is an angel! Throughout the book, Jackie Chirco Cogswell brilliantly weaves scripture and biblical application of truth in a very unique approach that causes young people and all of us who are "young at heart" to easily understand God's love for us in a fun and loving way. Real heart felt issues are talked about and lessons of walking in faith, following your heart melts away the fears that young people have.
My favorite character is Sophia because not only is that my Aunt's name but she has similar charming characteristics. Plus I think so many of us can relate to Sophia's attitudes that are in need of a heart change. I love the book and rate it 5 stars. You can easily read it in an evening. This book is for all readers and I highly recommend it to you. I look forward to reading GiggleHeart Adventures #2 and much more from this very talented author.
