Here's why I'm making this page
When girling up your business stationery, keep in mind that TOO much girly is frown upon. Too much pink or busy graphics can make your stationery seem too young and perhaps, immature. Finding that right balance is the key.
Even better is the spin you give it. Whether you decide you want a touch of sophistication, trendiness, whimsy or just simply modern will create your own unique style. This to me is very important because your design could end up looking like everyone else`s if you choose not to add a bit of your personal taste within the design.
When it comes to your girly stationery, there is really just one rule- Thou shall go nuts. Well okay, it`s not a rule but more like a bit of advice Girly note cards, post cards and stationery should reflect all the girlyness you feel like showing. So why just have pink on them when it could be showcasing your personality here?
More than just glitter and textures, have your designer experiment with fonts, patterns and fun characters that will bring out the qualities you feel you have. After all, who`s cards are they for anyway??
After seeing the barrage of different designers claiming their style is girly and feminine, I felt the need to clarify for the masses what it encompasses and what you should know before hiring a designer.
Not to mention searches will take you to lees than sophisticated illustrations that are worthy of a little girl`s room, not your business stationery.
