It's not too often that a TV show grabs me and reels me in, but Glee has done exactly that!
The series follows an optimistic teacher, who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.
The show has it all - comedy, drama, quirky characters, awesome choreography and great music!

Will Schuester
The Teacher
Played by: Matthew MorrisonDOB: October 30, 1978
About his Character: Will Schuester is a former star of McKinley High School's Glee Club, "New Directions." As the new head of McKinley's Glee Club, Will hopes to take his team all the way to Nationals. He is determined to do whatever it takes to make Glee great again, even though everyone around him thinks he's nuts.
Will is also a young, optimistic Spanish teacher who is married to his high school sweetheart, Terri Schuester.
Where you may have seen him: Matthew has appeared on many popular shows like Ghost Whisperer, Numb3rs and CSI Miami. He also played Adam Munson on the soap opera "As the World Turns".

Rachel Berry
The Over-Achiever
Played by: Lea MicheleDOB: August 29, 1986
About her Character: Rachel Berry is a member of Glee. She is perfectionistic and convinced that show choir is her ticket to stardom, in fact, she always puts a gold star after she signs her name because she is sure she will be a star someday. She is often picked on by the popular cheerleaders. She has two fathers for parents. Rachel is interested in musicals, movie musicals, and TV musicals.
Where you may have seen her: Appeared on one episode of "Third Watch"
Finn Hudson
The Jock
Played by: Cory MonteithDOB: May 11, 1982
About his Character: Finn Hudson is a very popular quarterback on McKinley High School's football team. He is also a member of Glee. He lives with his single mother. His interests include football, singing, hanging out with Quinn, playing football, burps, Halo 3, Call of Duty, Rocky II, sandbox, dreamer. Finn and Rachel have a strong attraction to each other, but he fights the attraction because of his school status and the fact that he's dating the head cheerleader.
Where you may have seen him: Played "Charlie Tanner" on Kyle XY.
Quinn Fabray
The Cheerleader
Played by: Dianna AgronDOB: April 30, 1986
About her Character: Quinn Fabray is Finn Hudson's girlfriend. She is a member of the Cheerios cheerleading team, and President of the Christ Crusaders (aka Celibacy Club). Quinn agrees to join the Glee club, but is only there to keep an eye on her boyfriend.
Where you may have seen her: She played "Debbie Marshall" in Heroes.

Sue Sylvester
Cheerios Cheerleading Squad Coach
Played by: Jane LynchDOB: July 14, 1960
About her Character: Sue Sylvester is McKinley's cheerleading coach. She has transformed her squad into an award-winning team. She loves being in the press. She is determined to destroy the Glee club because they are cutting into her cheer squad budget. If a gift basket suddenly shows up from Sue, be very afraid! Many times if Sue is being nice, it's just the calm before the storm.
Where you may have seen her: Played "Dr. Linda Freeman" on Two and a Half Men, "Joyce Wischnia" in The L Word and many other TV and Movie appearances.
Kurt Hummel
Fashion Iconoclast
Played by: Chris ColferDOB: May 27, 1990
About his Character: Kurt Hummel is a member of Glee. He is a soprano and has a flair for the dramatic. He is a self-named fashion iconoclast. His interests include promoting and marketing his new fragrance, "Hummel."
Artie Abrams
Rocking the Wheelchair
Played by: Kevin McHaleDOB: June 14, 1988
About his Character: Artie is a member of Glee. He's a geeky guitarist who spends more time avoiding bullies than chasing girls. His interests include wheelies, beat-boxing, and playing Dance Dance Revolution with his hands.

Puck
Tough Guy
Played by: Mark SallingDOB: ??
About his Character: Puck is an arrogant football player and a bully. He is teammates with Finn Hudson. He has a fondness for older women.
Where you may have seen him: Appeared in 1 episode of Walker Texas Ranger and also acted in the movies "The Graveyard" and "Children of the Corn: The Gathering".
Mercedes Jones
Diva
Played by: Amber RileyDOB: ??
About her Character: Mercedes Jones is a member of Glee. She is a dynamic diva-in-training who refuses to sing back-up. She has a flair for fashion. Her interests include bling, vocal runs, and being FABULOUS all the time. Mercedes is close friends with Kurt.

Emma Pillsbury
The Neurotic Guidance Councilor
Played by: Jayma MaysDOB: July 16, 1979
About her Character: Emma Pillsbury is a teacher at McKinley. She is single and harbors a secret crush on Will Schuester. She has a fear of germs. Her interests include hand-washing, rug-fringe-straightening, local news. She is a charter member of the Western Ohio Disinfectant Society. She is rooting for the Glee club to make it and always shows up for the performances.
Where you may have seen her: She played "Amy" in Paul Blart Mall Cop and "Charlie" in Ugly Betty.
Terri Schuester
The Wife
Played by: Jessalyn GilsigDOB: 1971
About her Character: Terri Schuester is married her high school sweetheart, Will Schuester. She is fond of crafts. And Pottery Barn. She works at Sheets N' Things. Terri loves roast beef on pumpernickel sandwiches. She is a bit selfish.
Where you may have seen her: Played "Meredith Gordon" on Heroes and "Gina Russo" on Nip/Tuck, along with many other movie and TV appearances.
