Don't quit your job until you are making at least as much with your home business as your job.
Do what you enjoy- The more you enjoy what you do, the less it will feel like work and the more you will want to do it. The more you apply yourself to the task at hand, the more money you will make.
Have a vision- Sit down and seriously think about what your goals are. It has to be more than just making more money, something real and tangible
Research, research, research. Make sure you understand everything involved with running a home based business. If you're used to trading your days for dollars, you will need to go through a real mind shift. It takes a lot of discipline and planning to keep yourself on track, but the rewards are well worth it.
More research- If you are joining an MLM or Network Marketing company, do your due diligence. Check them out every which way from Sunday, and then go on to Tuesday Afternoon as well. This is your reputation and livelihood on the line. There are a lot of resources outlined here and on our website that will help. Here are the main things to look for:
Product- Is it consumable? You want repeat customers. Is it affordable? You want the widest market possible. Is there a mystique or exclusivity? You want to stand out from the crowd.
Profit Margin- Is there enough to keep the company alive and well? Does the comp plan pay the part timers and newbies enough to stay on board? Does it pay the heavy hitters well enough to keep them interested and moving forward?
Compensation Plan- Every comp plan falls into just a few categories. Unilevel is generally recognized as the best, with a well structured binary coming a close second. There is only one matrix that has lasted the test of time, most fail eventually. And virtually no one up, two up or similar plan has lasted more than a couple of years.
Management Team- This one is critical, and most often overlooked. Without good, honest people who love and understand network ma

One last thing you should know about this man, four years prior to this writing he was flat broke. Having brought friends and family into three previous MLM companies that failed for various reasons, he had no friends left. He started virtually from scratch, but because of his determination and drive, (and a thourough checking out of his new business) he has succeeded beyond what most people can even dream of.
