Resources for GoBots Toy Collectors and Fans

This lens describes the GoBots toyline, contains links to collection pictures, 80's toys commercials, etc. GoBots are often looked down on by Transformers collectors, but in general, I always liked the GoBots better when I was a kid. About the time the Transformers movie came out, I pulled out my GoBots and Transformers toys that had been stored away in my parents' basement. It didn't take long for me to be hooked again. I started collecting the full GoBots toy line and just recently reached my goal. I still have a few repaints to get, but I basically have all the regular, super, deluxe, and combiner GoBots figures! I'll be adding detailed pictures of my full collection soon. For now, let this serve as a reminder of the forgotten transforming toy line. To begin, I recommend watching a few of the advertisements from the YouTube links below. You might also be interested in my lens for the GoBots Cartoons.

GoBots Toys 

GoBots were introduced in the early 80's as the only real competitor to Transformers. Like the Transformers, the GoBots toys had an accompanying cartoon series.

The GoBots toyline sold in the US stems from the Machine Robo line of toys. The GoBots toyline consists of the Regular GoBots, Super GoBots, Deluxe GoBots (Secret Riders and Dread Launchers), Combiners, Power Suits, Play Sets, and other miscellaneous toy items.
