3 years ago, I left for Dreamhost who offer dedibox (a vps solution). I have always been satisfied with their dedibox, but for a few months, it started to really charge me for using portfolio that I did ... It's sad but that is how it didnt have all the features that I needed.
I therefore returned to an offer mutualised. It is obviously cheaper, but more restrictive. There is always a feature missing or limitations. For example, the size and number of databases is still very limited (in the OVH offers 240 PLAN you will have 15 bases 45Mo). I will pass the details on the other constraints (disk space, monthly traffic ...)
In short, my choice fell on one that seemed to be the "least worst" and once again is hosting American with Godaddy. For the moment it runs not too bad. The site is obviously slower because of the geographic position of Godaddy servers, but hey, it was the "price" to pay for less pay
