"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, andbless his name" (Psalms 100:4) (KJV)Like many, as the holiday season approaches I like to the take time and reflect on how good God has been. I have been blessed in so many ways this past year. God has blessed me with the best family a guy could have, a great job, a Bible believing church, Christian friends, and a ministry to serve him in. He has been so good. However, he's not good because we are healthy or because everything is going as we had planned.

He is good because he is God! He is almighty, all knowing, and all powerful. He's everything we need, in every circumstance of life. He's strength to the hurting. He's good even when we are going through the fire and the storms of life. I am so thankful for that! I am thankful that he desires a personal relationship with each and every individual that will accept him as Lord and Saviour. To think that the creator of heaven and earth desires fellowship with me is amazing. Above all, I am thankful for his word. In his word, we learn everything there is to know about him. He is always the same. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever"(Hebrews 13:8 KJV). In a time when it seems everything is changing, God isn't. Keep serving and keep standing for him. Our labor and our witness is not in vain. God is still keeping records and he is still keeping his promises. He will reward the faithful. Happy Thanksgiving!
