God's Word on Worry
What does God say about Worrying?
~ Imagine never worrying about anything! It seems like an impossibility; we all have worries on the job, in our homes, at school. But Paul's advice is to turn our worries into prayers. Do you want to worry less? Then pray more! Whenever you start to worry, stop and pray. God's peace is different from the world's peace (see John 14:27). True peace is not found in positive thinking, in absence of conflict, or in good feelings. Philippians 4:6,7~ The end result of the Holy Spirit's work in our lives is deep and lasting peace. Unlike worldly peace, which is usually defined as the absence of conflict, this peace is confident assurance in any circumstance; with Christ's peace, we have no need to fear the present or the future. Sin, fear, uncertainty, doubt, and numerous other forces are at war within us. The peace of God moves into our hearts and lives to restrain these hostile forces and offer comfort in place of conflict. Jesus says he will give us that peace if we are willing to accept it from him. If your life is full of stress, allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with Christ's peace. John 14:27
~ God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Psalm 46:1-3
~ And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
~ They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:8
~ But the Lord said to her, "My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her." Luke 10:41,42
~ The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9
~ For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Psalm 32:7
~ When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. Psalm 91:15
~ We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8,9
~ And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28
~ And this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32:17
Anxiety
Understanding Anxiety--Luke 21:34
Anxiety is a feeling of uneasiness or fear, usually about something that has not happened yet. People can be anxious about their future, their health, their families, or their work. Sometimes people struggle with pinpointing the exact cause of anxiety. God's Word tells us that we do not need to be anxious about anything. He offers His peace, which is beyond anything humans can comprehend, to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6, 7).UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY
Being anxious is like carrying a great weight that burdens all aspects of your life. Anxiety can drain your energy and make it difficult for you to fellowship with God and with others. The core of fear is a lack of trust in God's ability or willingness to care for you. People often try earthly remedies for their anxiety. While sometimes counseling and medication are helpful, especially to recover form crisis-related anxiety, only God's peace can bring true long-term relief.

Victory Over Anxiety
Matthew 6:31-34
Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. If you struggle with anxiety, seek God's help daily. Confess your anxiety to God and ask His forgiveness for your lack of trust. God will respond by forgiving you and encouraging you to grow into a deeper relationship with Him.
The more you know God, the more your faith and trust will grow. You can have faith that God not only knows your needs, but that He will meet them. As your fellowship with God increases, faith will replace fear, and peace will supplant anxiety.

- Very well researched! Worrying is the human way. Faith is a continuous work in progress. The stronger your faith, the less you worry. We should never worry over things we have no control. Excessive worrying can be said to be self induced. For me I will trust in the LORD!
