Solve Your Problems Driving the Golf Ball
What kind of problems are you having with your driver? Do you have a hook? Slice? Hitting grounders? It doesn't matter. The good news is that no matter what problem you encounter, there are a number of things tyou can put into your game that definitely will help you. Now,for an example, If you are a golfer who has battled a slice for, say, tewnty years, then this won't be the cure all for your problem. But you CAN reduce the slice or hook, which in turn will help you score better. So here is the first of many golf swing training aids.* Swing Easy - There is nothing that can be better for your game than learning how to swing the club easier and with a more fluid motion. Go to the driving range and concentrate ONLY on swinging easy. It will transform your capacity to get yourself in position for a good approach shot when you get onto the course. You will find that you will make more consistent impact with the ball. It will reduce the amount of side-spin you naturally place on the ball because the club head won't be traveling as fast or with as much force. I know , I know...you've heard this before, but I ask you to concentrate on this and only this for just one week. And if you can't physically practice it, well then visualize it at the office or in your basement or back yard. I do. (visualization works great).
* Change to a Low Spin Ball. - Lower spin off of the tee means that the ball is going to go straighter in spite of whether your ball tends to move right or left. I recommend the Titleist DT SoLo or the Maxfli Noodle. Or try any other low spin ball. Just ask the pro at your local golf shop. These balls go for anywhere from $13 to $20 per dozen, and they will play a huge role in reducing the side spin that you naturally place on the ball

I understand that this all sounds over-simplified, but it's isn't. If you are having problems controlling your driver, switch to a low-spin ball, and start swinging easy. When you are on the range, ALL you should be thinking about is swinging the club easy. Incorporate this into your game this week.

HOW TO PLAY GOLF WHEN CONDITIONS ARE NOT IDEAL
Don't you hate it when you go up to the first tee and and the wind is blowing at you right in the face. Then you go to the next hole and and the wind blows left to right and the next hole it's right to left. It never seems to be at your back on those days , does it (except maybe on the shortest hole on the course)?Unfortunately you have to be prepared for those days. Driving the ball is particularly difficult in wind. It doesn't matter whether you have playing well or poorly of late.
What do you do ?
You must be disciplined on these rough driving days . Have you ever driven the ball 25 yards off the fairway and wished that you would have hit a five iron because you would have been in the middle of the fairway in better shape ?
Basically, the flatter the face on the golf club, the more the golf ball is going to curve. And the windier it is, the curve will be worse if it's going in the direction of the wind. So, what is the best answer.
Because it is important to find the golf ball in the fairway and not out of bounds, the driver might not be the best option on windy days, Go with the three wood or maybe even a three iron if you're hitting that well.
Leave the driver in the bag.

The Simple Golf Swing has been available since 2002. The author,David Nevogt, maintains you can lower your score by seven strokes or more in less than two weeks. C'mon ..you don't believe that one do you ?Golf swing training aids that guarantee you'll knock seven to twelve strokes off your score in just two weeks. I wasn't born yesterday... So I bought the product with a great deal of skepticism. Read on.
The author obviously isn't taking into consideration the golfers who already break 80 on occasion and just can't take seven strokes off their game in two weeks. Those golfers in the high 70s or low 80s can probably only reduce their score by two to three strokes on a consistent basis.
The Simple Golf Swing was written for the golfer in the 90 and above crowd. The inconsistent golfer. The golfer who always slices. The golfer who maybe has two or three great shots in a round and it keeps him or her coming back.
So How Did I Do ?
Let's start by saying I'm always around 90. My best score was 85 but I am very rarely over 100.
I used the techniques in the simple swing ebook, and dedicated 15 minutes a day to the recommended drills three times a week for the first two weeks. You should be able to spend 15 minutes 2-3 times a week for the next two weeks. You don't have to go to the range. your back yard will do. (I even spent some time at the office :)
I read the e book before I started practicing the drills. The drills and instructions are well structured and the details are explained step-by-step with photos. I had no problems understanding the the drills or the pictures. I was happy that it was an easy read. Sometimes a golf swing instruction book could be pretty boring, so I was happy about that.
It took me two days to get the setup position right and another day to get the downswing correct. I also was still having a little trouble with my backswing still. I just did this in my backyard for 15 minutes four times the first week.
The first day of the second week I still practiced ( this time twenty minutes) and then went to the range the rest of the week. The first six shots with the seven iron did not go well. So I checked his fix it points - all very well explained in the manual. As it turns out I still had a problem with my backswing. corrected it and by the third shot I was hitting them consistently straight.I found myself in much better control of the club.
David Nevogt has a scientific explanation for all this ( a single axis swing) .. Who cares what the scientific explanation is!! What I say. is "Let's see the results!"
I played the following Sunday afternoon and shot an 85.tying my best round. My swing felt nice and easy. No tightness. Since then I've basically stayed around 85. My best was an 82 so I would say that it took five strokes off my game with the capability od ten strokes if you continue to use the methods.
In Conclusion:
You could say I'm pretty darn happy. The Simple Golf Swing is full of solid golf swing training aids which can be easily learned and provides good results. But you have to practice. It is essential that you do the training drills at least fifteen minutes three times a week for the first two maybe three weeks to get the new movements down pat so they are automatic and to train your memory. If you just read The Simple Golf Swing e-book and hope somehow that it translates to better results without practice then you will not succeed with the method.
The ebook and some decent bonuses are $47. The chipping ebook bonus was my favorite and helped me with a consistent motion. The author also provides an eight week money back guarantee if you don't see the claimed results which is more than fair.
My recommendation is definitely get it if you shoot over 90 then you will see a five to ten shot improvement and seriously consider it if you are low 80's because it will help you break into the 70s consistently.
