A good one Spook, Club Captain not an easy post, you want to know a worst one? Green Keeper, if you play badly its my fault, if you can't get out the bunker its my fault, He is even blamed for the weather. Love the Job, but hate it also.

Spook - this has been most enjoyable - what comes through is your sense of fair play in all that you elect to do in life! Never thought I'd enjoy a golfing lens much - I've loved this one - thanks!

It's funny how you picked up on the fair play. For me everything in life is crucial to this and thank you for the visit and comment.

Not sure how I missed this before Spook but I feel for you. You did the right thing sticking to your guns! My hubby is a PGA golfer and we have lived and breathed the running of clubs over the past 25 years. Sometimes the members just don't understand we do things for the betterment of the whole... not just a select few. As far as junior golfers go, you need to start them young so they will one day take the place of the older golfers. Great lens!

I don't know much about golf but I still enjoyed your lens about your experience as captain of the golf club.

Wow, that was quite the golf experience...thanks for sharing. I played a fair bit of cricket growing up in Goa, India (now settled in Toronto, Canada). **Blessed by a Squid-Angel and featured on Squid Angel Blessings by AJ**

Lord knows, I love the game, but she never stops hurting me...Once in a purple moon do I show any inkling of brilliance with my Taylormade Super Steels, but you just can't deny the the pure integrity and joyous complexity of this game.

Kevin as usual, your were "right on" with the way you performed as Golf Captain.
I wish you could be here to do the same at our club. They have "taken over" recording the scores for HC from all the tournaments and dogfights, which helps, but still the individual scores that "sandbaggers" turn in keep them at a higher HC that they are in reality. Stars and a fav BTW our gov in SC has a comment on the stimulus money you will find interesting: http://preview.tinyurl.com/aomjcr

Well, I am not a golfer but my hubby used to play a lot. In fact, at one time he had a 1 handicap. He was quite good but is not able to play anymore. I enjoyed this lens. Great work.
