Golf For The Baby Boomer

As a very keen sportsman in my early years golf was never a sport that I had considered to pursue.

With the vibrance of youth most of my chosen sports were based on explosive power and strenght or speed and agility, but I guess as we get older  we slow down and are no longer capable of pursuing the sports that we were once so good at.

The competitive spirit does not wain though and health and fitness are as important when your older as it was when your younger, so I've decided to take up and learn golf by attending an adult golf vacation where I can indulge my other passion which is of course travel.

As a baby boomer I'll be starting my golf career from a fairly senior age but I feel it will be good exercise to walk the courses, but from all accounts most exercise is done at the 19th hole so they tell me?

When you get on the internet it is amazing the amount of courses available and the number of countries you can find golfing vacations in so i'll be off to my local course to learn a few tricks from the golf professional there before I shoot of on my first golfing vacation.

Move over Tiger Woods!
