I could never pronounce Wenceslas and have a hard time writing it! I didn't know any of the history...it was just wonderful music!

Nice lens, very well done, top marks. Just a couple of things though .. his name wasn't Wenceslas, he wasn't a king and he was certainly not very good at all. It's the lovely music that makes this carol a joyous one ( a welcome to Spring)

Thank you so much for this lens. I thoroughly enjoyed. I remember how proud I was as a child when I learned to pronounce Good King Wenceslas. Loved the choir and am listening now. Great lens.

I knew there was a true story behind this, I just didn't know what it was...until now! I love Christmas carols so much, and look forward to sampling some of your other lenses on them.

Good King Wenceslas was one of my families favorite carols at Christmas time. "In his master's step he trod" always struck me as deep. Not only was the King going to help the poor soul, he was leading the way. A good example.
