Some of the Best things...

  • Angies List - Is comprised of hundreds if not thousands of service companies in cities all over the country. They are rated by "you" the consumer.
  • Magnetic Chalkboard

    By Lisa Berrett

    Supplies needed for Magnet board:

    Darien Magnetic Foam
    Ceylon Chalkboard spray
    (Black, green)
    Sizzix andSizzix die cuts
    Paint pens

    1. Take the metal out of your frame and sand off the rough edges.
    2. Spray paint your frame with 2 really good coats of chalkboard paint I sprayed mine out side because the smell is so strong and it won't ruin any thing it's around.
    3. Set it aside and let it dry really well.
    4. With the sizzix cut out cute shapes or any of the fun things we have its neat because the sizzix cut through the foam really well.
    5. I used the paint pens to make fun lines and make the pieces come alive.
    6. Now that your frame is dry put the back in and lightly take your chalk and go ouer the entire frame and using the eraser wipe it off and it's ready to use every day. Your kids will have so much fun with this.
    7. There are so many fun ideas that you can use with the chalkboard spray the ideas are endless.

Meet the Girls!

Nicea DeGering

Nicea DeGering is a homegrown Utah girl with a love for family, broadcasting, and her alma mater, BYU. You were introduced to her in 1996 when she joined the ABC 4 News team as their crime reporter.

Since then, shes covered Salt Lakes tornado, the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Elizabeth Smart story. Today, Nicea is a co-host of Good Things Utah.

Nicea, her husband Scott, and two daughters reside in Sandy.

Meet the Girls!

Angie Larsen

Angie Larsen was born and raised in Salt Lake City, the oldest of five children. She attended Utah State University on a Theater/Academic scholarship then transferred to the University of Utah where she graduated with honors in broadcast journalism. After interning with KTVX in 1997, Angie was hired as an associate producer. She worked her way up to field producer, assignment editor, traffic reporter, and finally her dream positions: Host of the Emmy Award winning Good Things Utah and news reporter. Angie loves what she does! What a joy it is to get paid to ski jump, ride in stunt planes, be a Jazz Dancer for a day, drive race cars, and tell the amazing stories of Utah's finest.

Angie currently lives in Riverton with her two favorite guys: husband Steve and energetic two-year-old, Luke. Angie served five years as the publicity chairman for the Days of '47 parade committee and currently volunteers her time to many other community projects. Family, movies, theater, thrill rides, baking, reading, and bowling are how Angie spends what little free time work allows. Her favorite foods are pizza and anything sweet - especially chocolate! And don't even think about challenging her to a game of Scrabble; by the power of Z, J, and Q . . . she'll win (at least sometimes!)

Meet the Girls!

Reagan Leadbetter

Reagan Leadbetter joined ABC 4 in December 2000 as co-anchor of Good Morning Utah. Before settling down in Utah, Reagan anchored and reported the news in Springfield, Missouri and Flagstaff, Arizona.

Reagan Leadbetter came to us by way of her childhood home in Texas. She stills loves the Lone Star State, but says she has found home in Utah because of the wonderful people here.

Together with Nicea Degering and Angie Larsen, Reagan co hosts Utah's #1 daytime talk show, Good Things Utah. The show gives her the perfect opportunity to share her love of food, and her interest in families.

Reagan, her husband, their two sons, two dogs and 9 horses live in Park City.
