Picasa 3.9 - NEWEST download available from Google

Picasa 3.9 is a software application for organising and editing digital photos, originally created by Idealab and now owned by Google. "Picasa" is a blend of the name of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, the phrase mi casa for "my house," and "pic" for pictures (personalised art). In July 2004, Google acquired Picasa and began offering Picasa for free download.

I am simply amazed that a package that is so advanced is free: I guess that is a reflection of the Google business philosophy; grow users and expose them to future sales opportunities.

Seriously, this freebie will supercede most paid packages.
