Gothic Halloween Costumes

Goths already have black eyeliner and nail polish, masks, head dresses, hats, formal wear, sleeves, chokers, elaborate jewelry, high neck collars, horns, tall boots, hooded robes, and then props to go with everything we own, so what can you do to dress up for Halloween?

I don't like using labels, because I've never seen two people alike in enough aspects to be able to form their own group title. So, if you typically dress in a Gothic form wearing wings all the time, you could go for a pointed tail and a 3-point pitchfork look. Thus, dressing up as something you're not or a more elaborate you that you can't or don't normally get away with.

Being traditional is a viable option. Dress up as the Goths before our time, and I don't mean 10 or 20 years ago. Research a character or being from another time period that represents something similar to who you are. This would represent dressing up as the you that you would have been.

Think futuristic. What do you think you will look like and how will your style change years from now? Dress up as the you that you expect to be someday.

Go cultural. Think of great tribe leaders or the squashed peasants and minions beneath them. Please immediately post a link here if you are the one who dresses up as the Gothic Eskimo! Creatively express the you that you would be, if you were born somewhere else.

Other ideas include what others say you should have been, could have been, or would be "if". What you would be like if you personified the favorite possession that you owned, represented your passion in life, or if you were an animal...
