Everyone Needs to Go on a Date

Even if you are already married, you should plan a few romantic dates together to keep the sanity intact. Especially if you have kids. ;-) In fact, marriage is probably a better reason to date each other again once in a while to keep things interesting.

Here's a few ideas for a terribly romantic Gothic date, and a couple of unique normal dates if you would rather not be so morbid about it...

Darkly Romantic Gothic Date Ideas

1. Go for a moonlight walk or midnight drive. Explore new and exciting places full of chills and thrills together.

2. Visit an eerie, but serene location such as a spot by a river or a room with only one candle lit. Share your secrets and stories throughout the night.

3. Dress to impress in your most divine Goth clothing. Visit an exquisite restaurant - following all dress codes, yet in your own unique way. Leave an impression with insightful chatter and plentiful tips left for your waiter/waitress.

4. Spend a night watching some of the older horror movies you used to watch when you were younger. It may turn into a night of comedy together...

5. Cemetery play - travel together with an armful of flowers. Place a single flower on graves of people that have the same first name as you both do.

6. Learn something new together. Visit a historical place, chase down haunted locations, or figure out conclusions to unsolved mysteries of our time.

7. Fix something old, transform something new. Use objects around your house to create a masterpiece.

8. Be Creative - Grab a large canvas, paint, brushes, sponges, etc. Hold hands while squishing paint everywhere as you simultaneously create your work of art together.

9. Indulge in writing a poem together, taking turns completing every other line.

10. Rearrange and decorate - each other's rooms, or a single room, depending. Create a new sense of each other around you.
