Solving Problems and Taking Strong Stands
Weather people agree with Senator Graham's stands on issues or not all can agree that he takes strong positions. These positions include unpopopular positions like his stand on The War on Terrorism/Iraq, detainee treatment, and immigration. While the aforementioned positions are those on which substantial numbers of people disagree there are the ones where many, at least in his base, agree like same-sex unions, abortion, and Social Security reform, which engenders both responses.
Senator Graham also takes heat for working with Edward Kennedy, Hilary Clinton, and other liberal Democrats. However, he believes that this is the best way to solve South Carolina's and America's problems; by working together.
