Great Valentine Day Ideas
Fun, Laughter, and Sweet Romance
Valentine's Day is often the least romantic day of the year. Yes you heard me correctly. The majority of men act like robots, purchasing flowers and chocolate for their sweethearts because that is what everyone else is doing. Many people celebrate the day out of obligation rather than celebration.Despite this, you shouldn't ignore February 14th. Instead, you should give your all and make Valentine's Day a SPECIAL event for you and the one you love.
Great Valentine Day Ideas... This one is fresh, this one is hot, this one is absolutely the most creative Valentine Day Idea ever. Use this idea to help you make Valentine's Day in 2009 the most romantic day you've ever spent with your sweetheart.
Planning will be the key to your success...
* Let's get started planning where you are going to have the most creative Valentine experience you've ever had.
* Start gathering the items you will need. Here's the list: Scented Candles, Fragrant Soap, Fluffy Towels, Fruit, Dinner (please prepare this ahead of time), Lotion, Music.
* Either prepare a bath with scented candles all around or if your loved one prefers, this can be done in the shower. Have everything ready...a special fragrant soap, lotion (for the sensual massage later on), a puff, of course, to smooth the soap all over your sweetheart's body, comfortable clothes to wear later on. Throw the fluffy towel in the dryer right before they get in the shower or tub. Now that you have everything ready, lead your love down the candle lit hall to the sensuous delight you have waiting. (This is your part, do what you do best). Just as they are getting out of the water, go get the towel and wrap them in the warm fluffy towel and surround them with all your love.
* Next...Lead your love to the living room or whatever room you have designated as "Your" special Valentine room. Here you will have the softest blankets that you can find and pillows of every shape and size and texture. A romantic fire would come in handy about now.
Note: You can get really creative here: If you like the outdoors, set up a love nest in a dome tent and keep the top clear so it is just netting and you can see the stars as you enjoy your romantic evening, or you could make the tent experience just a part of your memorable romantic evening. If you are in Albuquerque for example and it's colder than a bugaboo, get plenty of blankets and a sleeping bag and an electric blanket (yes, they work outdoors). You could also have a picnic outside by candlelight and moonlight, maybe a rooftop or even a camper?...you get the picture.
* Get your music together...the impression you make tonight will be unforgettable, so choose the perfect music...get some music that has special meaning to the two of you and also includes some new music, some with lyrics and some with out. But, remember you want everything ready and together...you don't want to be fumbling around for anything in the dark.
* When you buy the candles, get a certain scent...this scent will be remembered. You want to burn several of them to blend the aroma with the total experience. Again, neither of you will ever forget this incredible creative Valentine experience ...the scent of the candle is an important piece of the magical experience. Neither of you will ever smell the scent of this candle without remembering this night.
* Have beverages available...Could be Champagne, Cocktails, Wine, Beer, Cappuccino, or even a Diet Dr. Pepper.
* Make a list of your love's favorite fruit. Ok, so they don't like fruit that much...I hear you...do it anyway. Here's a short list with different textures: kiwi, banana, cantaloupe, peach, and now you're all set. Cut the fruit into small bites and feed them to your Sweetheart while they are blindfolded. Let them anticipate each bite and savor the flavor of each morsel as you slowly hand feed them.
* Now, go to the kitchen and bring the dinner you've already prepared to your special room and while sitting in your warm cozy nest, facing each other, eat your lovely dinner while listening to the romantic music you have playing in the background. Try feeding each other, this can be very sensual and fun.
* Next on the romantic agenda, put the dishes aside (no, don't jump up and do the dishes, they won't go anywhere unless there are dish washing burglars victimizing your neighborhood)...Now either enjoy yourself by the fire, go outside as mentioned previously, or retire to a spare bedroom that you have made into a special getaway room. It is truly amazing what just switching bedrooms can do...
* What should you wear? You can pick out a certain sexy something to wear...but at this point...it won't matter if you are a grizzly bear...You will be HOT...absolutely on FIRE.
* OK, now you are armed and dangerous...now go and have one terrific Valentine's Day.
