A Sinfully Delicious Cake

I originally made this lens for the Thanksgiving Charity Cook off. It didn't win, but it's still a great recipe for you to try. It starts with a basic cake mix, then gets a little bit less plain. My husband and I got a little creative. It was a great hit with my family, and I'm sure it will be for yours too.

How The Recipe Goes

It's pretty simple.

CHERRY CHOCOLATE RED VELVET CAKE

1 Red Velvet Cake Mix
1 Package of Grated Coconut
1 Jar Of Maraschino Cherries
1 Can Of Cherry Pie Filling
1 Package of Cherry Koolaid
1 Package of Chocolate Chips (or any other kind you may like)
1 Bundt Cake Pan
1 Jar Of Hot Fudge Topping

Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions. Add 1 cup of grated coconut, 2 cups of chocolate chips, and the package of Koolaid. Pour into your Bundt Pan and sprinkle a little bit of grated coconut on the top. Bake according to the directions on the package.

When it's finished, turn the pan upside down and put the cake on a plate. The bottom is now what the top was. After the cake cools, pour the Maraschino cherries and cherry pie filling over the top, and into the hole in the middle of the cake. Heat up your hot fudge topping, and pour that on top of the cherries. Voila! An awesome cake for the holidays, or any other time you want a special dessert.

Now you're talking!!! Cherries and chocolate were meant to go together, like peanut butter and chocolate.
