For many years cleaning and in this case carpet cleaning has had a bad reputation. Why? Two main areas, first it so easy for anybody to setup and call themselves carpet cleaners. And second the products and methods used.

So why is it so easy to set up in carpet cleaning? Well on the face of it it's just removing dirt from carpets. And that does not sound hard does it? Think again, you must have heard those stories about carpet cleaners shrinking carpets, or taking days to dry out.

For example with any other type of cleaning you would keep scrubbing and rinsing until the dirt bond is broken. But you can't do this with carpets.

Good carpet cleaning is all about effectiveness removal of the dirt. It can be done with little or no water. But to the untrained carpet cleaner they keep scrubbing away at your carpet until it looks clean.

By keep going over and over the carpet, They over wet your carpet. It's this over wetting that causes some carpet to shrink. also no wants a soaking wet wool carpet. That would just smell nasty.

Repeat carpet cleaning customers means that each day and week you will be work for people that you know and not have to get into the cheap price marketing of carpet cleaning. its these guys that every week need to fill their week up with new customers.
