How can I Guard Myself from Identity Theft
Monitor your account statements monthly. Look for any charges, addresses, etc. that you don't recognize. If you notice anything you should contact the creditor and their Fraud Department.
Monitor your Credit Report Regularly. At least once a year. Again, Check for Anything that you think that is Fraudulent, Names, Addresses, Accounts, etc.
Report These to All Credit Reporting Agencies so they can place a Fraud Alert on your Account.
There is also Credit Monitoring Companies out there that you can use. One that I recommend is Life Lock.
