Why Should I Guard Myself from Identity Theft?

Identity Theft is becoming one of the Major Crimes in the United States. It effects Hundreds of Thousands of people yearly. With todays technology Identity Theft is an easy job for thieves.

Many believe that Identity Theft won't happen to them. But, Don't be Fooled. You could very well be the next Victim if you don't take the necessary steps to protect yourself. The good name that you have worked so hard to build for yourself could be taken away and you not even know until it is too late unless you are taking the right steps to Guard Yourself from Identity Theft.

How can I Guard Myself from Identity Theft

Guarding yourself from Identity Theft can be an easy task. The main key to Guarding yourself is Monitoring.
Monitor your account statements monthly. Look for any charges, addresses, etc. that you don't recognize. If you notice anything you should contact the creditor and their Fraud Department.
Monitor your Credit Report Regularly. At least once a year. Again, Check for Anything that you think that is Fraudulent, Names, Addresses, Accounts, etc.
Report These to All Credit Reporting Agencies so they can place a Fraud Alert on your Account.
There is also Credit Monitoring Companies out there that you can use. One that I recommend is Life Lock.
Life Lock Guarantees your Good Name with 1,000.000.00.
