To escape, they must swim through an underwater channel, and as they enter the water, the full moon illuminates the water and it begins to glow. This mysterious water forever changes them and life will never be the same again!
The girls soon discover that whenever water touches them, they turn in to mermaids! Not only that, each of them acquires a very unique power over water. Together with their loyal friend Lewis, Emma, Cleo, and Rikki resolve to live normal teenage lives, but it's hard to be normal when you are a part-time mermaid!

Emma, Cleo and Rikki are sixteen year old girls growing up on the sun-drenched beaches of the eastern Australia.
For these typical teens, life revolves around clothes, the beach, and boys until one night when their lives are touch by ocean magic.

- I would like to be a mermaid a lot every time the shows on im watching it! I would pay you £160 to have a mermaid tail but are the girls really mermaid's???, I wan't to know!!!!!!!
but it would be hard to be a mermaid you have to keep the secret I would only tell my best friend Alex.
