Alternate Fuel HHO Systems-Do They Actually Work?

HHO is composed of two separate elements of Water, consisting of two atoms of Hydrogen (H) and one atom of Oxygen (O), thus H2O becomes HHO. (a gaseous state).
The most abundant element in the known Universe is Hydrogen,which is the volatile part of this amazing fuel.
Oxygen does not burn, but it does support combustion.

The technology that is used to extract the two elements from water is known as Electrolysis.
Electrolysis of water has been used for experimentation and other industrial processes for over a hundred years.

The HHO fuel systems used today are used primarily as a supplemental fuel rather than a replacement for gasoline.
The electrolyser, a device for producing HHO, is connected to the engine's air intake plenum or duct by a hose and HHO is mixed with the air and gasoline as it is drawn into the combustion chamber.

The design is considered an ON DEMAND system, meaning that HHO fuel is produced only as is needed, having NO storage tank, and stopping when the ignition key is turned off.
Fuel mileage is increased because the gasoline burns more completely, producing cleaner exhaust emissions, and you can save money on fuel costs and help the environment by reducing air pollution.

One problem That I discovered in my research involves the car's oxygen sensor, which is one of the sensors that sends signals to the on board fuel control computer.
The purpose of the Oxygen Sensor is to measure the exhaust gases for oxygen and relay the information back to the fuel control computer so that adjustments to the fuel supply can be implemented.
The oxygen sensor is a device mounted in the exhaust manifold or in some cars also in the exhaust pipe downstream from the catalytic converter.
Earlier model cars with electronic fuel injected motors had a single oxygen sensor for four cylinder engines and later model cars, V6, and V8 motors have two sensors, one before and one after the catalytic converter.

The problem that occurs with cars or trucks equipped with a HHO fuel system becomes evident since gasoline burns so efficiently when the system is operating, there is a greater abundance of oxygen in the exhaust effluent, the oxygen sensor sends the signal to the fuel control computer which adjusts the fuel mixture to run rich.
So now, any gains made to the fuel economy are off-set by the Oxygen Sensor.

The solution is called an Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE), which is a device that can be adjusted to correct this problem by tricking the computer into compliance for the purposes of optimal fuel economy. more info here! * see disclosure statement below.
