If you travel to work using Hartmann Road in Hidden Valley Lake, CA during the week of October 18th, you may notice hot air balloons hovering high above the Hardesters Shopping Center. This is no mere coincidence. It is a "sign in the sky" something wonderful this way comes. And, that something wonderful is the Grand Opening of the Hardesters Shopping Center on Saturday, October 18th from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The theme is Oktoberfest.
Although the shopping center had been in existence for a long time, a lot of new improvements have been made. For example, the shopping center now has its own chef store and two of its tenants offer FREE Wi-Fi to their customers.

HVL Pet Palace will have a pet costume contest and a small agility course for pets.
Chic LeChef will have samples of chef cooking and being doing cooking demonstrations.
Crave Coffee House will have live music in front of the shop, offer samples and have a jumpy house provided by Astro Jumps (5 minutes for $2.00).
Dream Salon will have a carnival-type setup. It will be giving out free haircare samples and have a drawing for complimentary services. There will be discount coupons on services available. It will be promoting Dreamgirlz Bithday parties. There will be a dream makeover photo shoot in addition to free consultations and carnival games for the kids.
Special Raffle conducted by Linda Fergusson of New York Life at 3:30 p.m. includes:
- A one-year supply of dog food (for one dog) from Royal Canin, compliments of the Hidden Valley Pet Palace.
- Free Pizza, compliments of Brian's Pizza.
- Karate uniforms, wooden Japanese practice swords and spar gloves, compliments of Guangxi Martial Arts
- One free lunch special each month for one year, compliments of Ting's Thai Kitchen.
- Two Day of Beauty certificates, which includes a manicure, pedicure, hair cut and style and mineral makeup makeover, compliments of Dream Salon.

- Great - things are growing -I do have a suggestions - perhaps set up a computer with a large screen and play a you tube video or two of a musical performance to add the the environmental mix. Also, perhaps you might be able to round up some acorns and give them to the kids to plant in some pots at home and have them bring those back next year and sell them to raise money for a charity -

- I think this is a great lens supporting a worthwhile cause, the grand opening of a shopping center. My hopes are that many will read this lens and attend the event. It should be very beneficial for the attendees and the sponsors of this event.
