Welcome to the first and only squidoo haiku game! This is a game where you can show off your haiku skills, vote on other haikus, work together as a community to create a complex and enticing story from haikus, and maybe even get some backlinks!

How does this game work? 

This game is very simple, but as time goes it will become more and more engaging.

To begin this game, I will post a single haiku. Below that haiku will be a guestbook, where you can submit your haiku. However, there is a twist. This is a story, and all the members of squidoo are building it. So, you must take the last line of the person below you's haiku in the guestbook, and make it into the first line of yours. Make sense? Now get to work :).

What is a haiku? 

A haiku is a quick and fun poem that doesn't take long to make. It consists of three lines, each with a specific syllable requirement.

The first line must have 5 syllables
The second line must have 7 syllables
The third line must have 5 syllables

Color will be added occasionally when time permits me to do that, so don't be hurt if your submission is plain. Hopefully I'll be able to get them all in color sooner or later.

When making your haiku, look at the last line of the haiku of the person below you. That line will be the start of your new haiku.
