This sandy course has many challenging bunkers and water hazards. It also features many bridges for players to negotiate the pools, and requires good concentration to achieve a competitive score.

Right next door to a crocodile farm at Crocodile Lake, Hainan Moon Bay Golf Club lies adjacent to the shore of the South China Sea. It's only a 15 minute drive to the north-west of Haikou city to the Yingbin Recreational Area where this course is situated. With an open layout and a mainly flat terrain, the fairways are lined with tropical coconut palms and have beautiful waterways to add interest (and a challenge) to the course. A gentle sea breeze will keep you cool in the tropical climate.A team of specialists from the USA designed this course, which is compliant with USGA Golf Course Standards. There are some deep and wide bunkers for players to contend with. The other challenge is the aforementioned large ponds, connected by streams that contribute much to the aesthetics of the course. You will enjoy the beauty and interesting layout of this remarkable course.
