Vintage Halloween Decorations
Last year I wanted something different for Halloween Party Decorations other than what the stores had to offer. So I decided to make some vintage style decorations. Here I will show you how to make a Vintage Halloween Banner. With easy step by step instructions including photos.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Materials List

- Pages from an old book (I used pages from a discarded murder mystery book)
- Rubber stamp letters and black ink
- Orange glitter pipe cleaners
- Black cording
- E6000 glue
- Decoupage glue

Step 1
Step one
- Cut 14 triangles out of black construction paper
(I made mine 5x7x7) - Using a pair of decorative scissors cut 14 purple triangles making them 1/2" smaller on all sides
- Cut 14 triangles from the old book pages making them 1/2" smaller than the purple triangles
- Next using the orange construction paper cut 14 squares that are 1 1/2"
- Stamp the orange squares as shown spelling out

Step 5
Step five
- Cut and bend the glitter pipe cleaners to fit around the edges of the book page layer
- Apply the E6000 glue around the edges of the book pages and attach the pipe cleaners (you may have to put something like a book or or piece of glass to hold the pipe cleaners down while they dry)

Step 6
Step six
- Lay out your banner pieces faced down and evenly spaced apart. You will be putting together 2 seperate banners.
HAPPY and HALLOWEEN - Measure your cording to fit your layout adding extra on the ends
- Position your cord across the back top
- Cut rectangles from the black paper and glue across the cording to hold in place
