Handmade Cards - Children

This is a design I made years ago and originally I produced it as a 3D picture / soft bas relief using fabrics and pieces of straw hat.

Hand finished with metallic inks and signed by the artist.

I still have the original 3D pictures I produced, they're framed in something similar to shadow boxes but roughly 2 inches deep and the pictures are approximately 15 inches by 23 inches.

Even the cards (c A5 in size) look good framed.

His partner card is Girl on a Swing.

Girl on a Swing is the partner card to Puppy and his Boy and also was originally produced as a 3D picture / soft bas relief.

These designs were produced when my littlest girl was just a very wee one and now she's in her mid thirties but I hope the designs are timeless.

Again, the original for this design and its partner were originally produced as soft bas relief / 3D pictures, framed deep behind glass. In exactly the same way as the Puppy and his Boy and the Girl on a Swing.

These collage 3 dimensional pictures are a lot of fun and not all that hard to create.

This series of cards is all hand finished with metallic inks and signed by the artist.

And here is her partner, the little boy is fishing, probably snoozing in the sunshine, while the fish in the pond is laughing, knowing he's in no danger at all.

As with the others in the series, this card is hand finished with metallic inks and signed by the artist.

Currently available in just the one colourway and hand finished with gel inks.

This card is signed by the artist and comes to you with a lavender coloured self-seal envelope, ready to send.

Here I'm showing Tiger, a children's colouring card.

This particular card was in fact designed by my son a number of years ago when he was about 12 years old and makes a perfect colouring card.

Any colouring cards I offer come with the same lavender coloured envelope as the full colour cards.

Please remember that all cards are available as A4 prints for framing and the colouring cards are no different.

This card is based on a photograph taken of one of my daughters.

The original photo was taken against a hazy sunset at the end of a beautiful Summer's day beside the Loch.
