Life is too short to be sifting through all that junk e-mail. I don't even want to download that junk. At my company, we get a lot of e-mail. Our addresses have been on the web for a very long time. Everything is under control and we don't use filters for our mail and we don't download junk.

Lots! We have been using Spam Arrest on our primary mailbox since July 2003. As of April 2009, Spam Arrest has processed 2,543,558 messages and sent on to us 39,150 messages.
Wow! That means since we started that 98.5% of our e-mail is junk. Now, you may not have that much junk, but it is nice to know that this solution can easily handle large junk e-mail problems.

What has been your experience with junk e-mail
Not only is junk e-mail annoying, it can be down right dangerous. The links can bring you to sites that include malware - nasties that you don't want on your computer. Hopefully any nasties in your junk e-mail will be caught by your anti-virus solution. If not, it could spell trouble for your computer. For us, we get so much junk e-mail, we cannot download it all.

True enough. Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have an anti-spam feature. Great, if yours does too. Mine does. It turned out I had some problems. I was missing some good e-mail from clients. That became a problem as it took a while to figure out that it was my ISPs spam filter that was throwing out the good messages with the bad. So, if that is the route you choose, be very careful with the options you select.If you are too restrictive with your ISPs settings, then you may throw out the good e-mail with the bad. On the other hand, if you allow your provider to send you junk e-mail, what has it saved you?
It is great that an ISP can add value to your internet service with an anti-spam feature. However, they don't do SPAM and virus detection for a living. The good folks at Spam Arrest keep your inbox clean for a living. That is what they do.

Unlimited disposable email addressesUsing the sub-address feature, you can create an unlimited number of e-mail addresses. Worried about giving out your e-mail address? No problem, give out a sub-address. At any point in time you can stop receiving e-mail to that address. It is great for signing up to websites. Some sites cannot validate their address with a challenge response. In that case, use a sub-address. You can be assured that it will be delivered.
Mailing List
With the Mailing List feature you can authorize (or block) any TO address. Typically, with a mailing list, there is an alias that represents that mailing list group. You enter this address into the Mailing List feature and that address will be automatically sent (or blocked). We also use this feature for addresses that we don't want to include in the challenge response system. We also have some very old e-mail addresses that we have retired and block using this feature. Very handy and very flexible.
Domains
When we work with a new customer we will add there company's domain to our account. All domains in this list our authorized. Messages from this domain will automatically reach your inbox. This is handy for trusted domains so that your customers don't need to deal with the challenge response.
SMTP
You can configure your e-mail client to use the Spam Arrest SMTP service. Each time you send from an account that uses the Spam Arrest SMTP service, it adds the address to the authorized senders list. This is a great time saving feature. If you send them a message, you know who they are and thus they will have a valid e-mail address. You can go in and remove these authorizations at any time.
