Live It Up! Bite Down on Some Good Food.

It's hard to find interesting and exotic food ingredients on the web. I mean places to buy the stuff. Google searches yield descriptions, recipes, pictures, and wikipedia pages, but if you want to actually eat the food, it's hard to find online merchants.

Hey! Where can I get some abalone, marmite, and spotted dick Right Now???

Ah, here's the answer: LinksToFood.com. An independent guide to discovering interesting and hard-to-find ingredients on the web. You can browse through a carefully monitored index of over 400 food categories and easily choose from 1200 delicious entries, each with a web merchant who will ship them to your doorstep. Cool! And don't miss the LTF Blog for all the latest poop. (Perhaps I made a bad choice of words in the last sentence.)

That avocado looks good, doesn't it? It's one of the many varieties in Hawaii not generally available on the mainland U.S. This Sherwill is large, about 7 inches (18cm) long. Delicious. Photo taken in Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawaii.

Pork with Apples

California's Napa Valley provides many fine dining opportunities, supported by visitors from the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Summers are crowded, autumn best. This photo from Celadon, Napa, California.

Interesting lens. It would be nice to see some more pictorial examples of the exotica from some of those other countries as well. Just a thought. :)
