Hatching Eggs from the Supermarket
This is an experiment to see if eggs from the supermarket will actually hatch out, I have heard the rumours but decided to try and see!!

My Local Supermarket had a box of 6 Free Range Eggs on sale for 60p, so I bought them and put them in the opened box to come up to room temperature (pointy side down)

Incubator up to speed!!
The incubator is consistantly up to the right temperature, so I set the eggs.

I have tried candling the eggs again, but am still rubbish at it-I am also turning the eggs 5 times during the day to ensure they do not "get stuck" and keeping the water topped op to ensure correct humidity inside the incubator.

Nothing to report, I am still rubbish at candling, but am turning 5 times a day and keeping the humidity up.

OK, I shall put my neck on the line and say that there is 1 possible out of this batch-Still rubbish at candling, but there seems to be a latticework of veining in this one and a shadow keeps moving about, I don't think it is the yolk - I am sooo excited!!
This will only work if the eggs are fertile-there may have not been a cockerel at the Free Range Farm!!
