This is an experiment to see if eggs from the supermarket will actually hatch out, I have heard the rumours but decided to try and see!!

My Local Supermarket had a box of 6 Free Range Eggs on sale for 60p, so I bought them and put them in the opened box to come up to room temperature (pointy side down)

I have tried candling the eggs again, but am still rubbish at it-I am also turning the eggs 5 times during the day to ensure they do not "get stuck" and keeping the water topped op to ensure correct humidity inside the incubator.

OK, I shall put my neck on the line and say that there is 1 possible out of this batch-Still rubbish at candling, but there seems to be a latticework of veining in this one and a shadow keeps moving about, I don't think it is the yolk - I am sooo excited!!
This will only work if the eggs are fertile-there may have not been a cockerel at the Free Range Farm!!
