Ive always loved to wear sandals. When I got my first pair of Havaianas Sandals, I was truly amazed by how comfortable they are. Before I got my first pair of Havaianas Sandals, I have had many pairs of the "other" sandals. You know, the ones that you put on and they feel like hard rubber and the strap rubs so hard on your feet that it sometimes causes you to have blister on the toes if your doing alot of walking. My Havaianas Sandals fealt like i was walking on cushions. The softness of the rubber is really something you have to try for yourself. I think that this is why they are so popular amongst such a wide range of people. Ive seen pairs that were very cheap to some pairs that are quite expensive. I have them both, i have a pair that cost me about $80 and then I have a pair that was like $16. They are both the same in the quality of the sandals. Its just how fancy do you want them.
