The Kala String Trick and Bracelet of Freedom and Forgiveness

I use string figures and string tricks as a healing art. String Tricks in Hawaii are called pukaula. It is noted in the literature that string and the tying and releasing of knots was used by kahunas or healing priests in healing rituals of old Hawaii. It is my intent to bring this art to the modern world. This is a bracelet and string trick that I use to illustrate Kala, one of the principles of the Huna Philosophy of Hawaii as taught by Serge Kahili King. There are no accidents, as one day I was reminded of this string trick and our interconnectedness by a YouTube video of Jeff McBride taken during Burning Man. Please do not miss the link to this video that I have included in this lens.

What Is The Huna Philosophy Meaning Of The Word Kala?

Kala is the second principle reminding us that in an unlimited universe anything is possible. There are no limits to the possibilities if we are willing to find a way. Sometimes we need to release and let go of old patterns and ways of looking at things. What if... we thought of our problems as an illusion?

Kala reminds us that Anything is Possible. If we are willing to let go, to release, we will be free and open to change and new possibilities. Are you willing to be free of your problem?

Kala, one of the principles of the Huna Philosophy of Hawaii taught by Serge Kahili King of Aloha International. www.huna.org

KALA: There Are No Limits
Corollary:
Everything is connected.
Anything is possible.
Separation is a useful illusion.
Message: Be Free

What Is The Hawaiian Dictionary Meaning Of The Word Kala?

Pukui and Elberts Hawaiian Dictionary defines kala as: To loosen, untie, free, release, remove, unburden, absolve, let go, acquit, take off, undo; to proclaim, announce; to forgive, pardon, excuse; to substitute for; counter-sorcery or sorcerer, proclamation, public crier, announcer; prayer to free one from any evil influence; to practice counter-sorcery. kala 'ana: forgiveness, absolution. Ho'okala. limu kala: seaweed used in ceremony to drive away sickness and to obtain forgiveness.

Forgiveness

"Forgiveness is basically a process of deciding that whatever happened is no longer important or doesn't matter anymore. In practicing blanket forgiveness assume that in any current condition of pain or discomfort there is some anger involved. We want to change the stress effects of that anger."

The Secret Revealed

Do You Want To Know How To Do The Healing Bracelet String Trick?

I share with you my script for using this healing tool with others. I share the secret of this string trick only when a person pledges to "pay it forward" and to share its magic with others while helping to make this world a better place.

My script:

It's always a good idea to begin with aloha and ask the person's name so that you can share at a more compassionate heart level.

I take the string off of my wrist and say:
This bracelet reminds me of the Hawaiian word Kala. It means to loosen, untie, free, release, let go, forgive.

It's to remind me that any problem, anger or fear that I have can be released and let go of.

I hold up the string as I say:
(person's name) Hold up your index finger.

I want you to think of a problem in your life, an anger or a fear that you want to let go of, that you want to forgive or be free of.

You don't have to say it out loud, you can keep it private, to yourself. Just hold on to the top of your finger with your other hand. maika'i/good.

The Hawaiian philosophy of Huna reminds us that anything is possible. If we are ready to release what is causing us tension, anything is possible.

(person's name) Are you willing to let go of your problem, fear or anger?

I work the string trick so fast that it gives the illusion that the string passes through their finger.

Then you are free. This is a gift for you to always remember that you have the power to be free of any problem, anger or fear. Mahalo/thank you.

I give the bracelet to them as a gift so that it can help them to remember my healing message. I am often asked "Do that again and How did you do that?" but I do not give away the secret of the string trick unless they pledge to "pay it forward" to at least three people.

I have available packages of three string bracelets and written instructions for them to purchase and share with others.

The Dynamind Technique

As in the mediation process of Ho'oponopono our goal is to restore harmony. Using a variation of the Dynamind Technique (King) you can do the string trick and say:

I have a problem and this can change.
Whatever this problem is related to I release it, let it go and forgive it completely. It doesn't matter anymore.
