True Healthcare Reform Is Single Payer
True healthcare reform will not happen on the National level here in the US because the politicians in Washington are bought and sold by the Corporate special interests, and one of the biggest of these are the Health Insurance Companies.
We have two bills here in Pennsylvania that I have helped get front and center to Republicans and Democrats alike. The Bills are House Bill 1660 and Senate Bill 400.
We call it Civilized Healthcare for all.
Everybody in. Nobody out.
The woman in the introductory picture is holding a check made out to the state of Pennsylvania for $353,000,000.
This how much money the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will save by enacting this legislation.
Once we do it, you will want to do it, too.

This Is How Single Payer In PA Will Be Paid For
Civilized healthcare for all replaces the profit-centered insurance company that denies coverage to ensure big profits. It eliminates 84% of what we now waste on administration, advertising, marketing, CEO saleries and perks. VA-style bulf purchasing of pharmaceuticals also reduces cost (the VA saves 50% or more).
The U.S. spends more than twice as much per person on healthcare as the other 34 industrialized countries (all of which have Universal Healthcare).
