HealthRider HR2 Exercise Rider
This is probably the piece of home fitness equipment that you are accustomed to thinking of when you hear the HealthRider name.I remember when the original Rider came out and and the original version is the one that we still have.
Although there have been a few changes with the original HR I do like this HR 2 model a bit more and this is due to the fact that the HR 2 actually has different level of intensity making it more of a strength training machine for your lower body.
Sure, you have to admit that the workout with the original Health Rider does give you an excellent workout and if you have ever used one then you will understand that once you stand up after your workout you can almost feel your legs wobble from muscle use. But having the resistance addition is perfect for those who do have a stronger lower body and want to gradually increase their strength.
The monitor on the HR2 is not quite as detailed as the original but to be honest, I'm not always checking it anyway. You can usually tell when you have had a good workout and sure the stats help with motivation but they never my workouts longer and you might feel the same way.
The HR has a much sleeker design and it's also a bit smaller so it's easier to fit in to more rooms in your home.
Just like the original HR, the HR2 will give you an incredible workout in just 20 minutes a day. Actually the first few weeks you may find that 20 minutes is even too much and you may want to start off a bit more slowly.
You may think that 5 minutes is not much, but you seriously may want to cap your first 2 or 3 workouts to no more than 5 minutes. It really is that good of a workout.

I'm sure that I'm not unlike many others, my life is really busy. The only way that I can workout is if I do it at home. It seems to work for me!

I prefer to workout at home or outside on a local jogging trail. I can get my kids involved and sometimes it make the workout just that much better :)

...home has more on-hand features than the gym and it's already paid for. Anyway, most of my exercise is up and down the stairs. Very well organized lens...congratulations!

While I loved my many years of having a club membership, I find that when I am able to workout at home I can always find a few minutes here and there so I am more apt to get at least some every week.
With a membership I had to be sure that I had at least 2 hours of free time to devote which is pretty difficult.
I'd figure 20 minutes driving each way (sometimes more), 10 minutes to check in and say hi to everyone and wait for a piece of equipment. So far that's 50 minutes used and I haven't even done any exercising yet.
If I was taking a class I would also have to be sure that I arrived in time for the warmup.
If I was at home, my workout would have been almost completed by then.
If time was no object then the club would be fun, but I don't have 2 hours free several times a week.

HealthRider Treadmills, Ellipticals, Exercise Bikes and Fitness Accessories
If you are new to the HealthRider brand then this section may surprise you. While Health Rider started off with 1 product, they have expanded their line to include the following types of home fitness equipment.
HealthRider Treadmills
HealthRider Ellipticals
HealthRider Original
HealthRider Stationary Bikes
HealthRider Exercise Equipment Floor Mat
HealthRider Fitness Accessories
Within each product category you will find a few different models. Oddly enough while you may know the name HealthRider from their riders, they only have two versions of riders yet several treadmills and ellipticals.
Maybe they will eventually expand on their name so that people know that now have a larger range of fitness equipment

- What do think about classic forms of home workouts like medicine ball workouts for example, although i do see the advantages of machines, one obvious one is that you paid a lot for it, so you should us it!
