Ideally, our body should get its share of nutrition and healthy food from our meals. However, this is not the case in real life. In real life:- We find the task of making and eating meals to be very cumbersome.
- We opt for processed foods which are rarely as healthy and nutritious as home made foods.
- We often skip meals because we are too busy in work or do not have time to cook and eat.
- We do eat but cut down on the quantity of food we consume because we are concerned about staying slim.
- We rarely eat balanced diets. We cook the same dishes again and again. Instead of adding variety to our diet, we do our best to simplify it.
The end result is that we often feel hungry all the time even as our body is starved of nutritious food. We sate our hunger by eating junk food and unhealthy snacks.
This leads to a vicious cycle that never seems to end. We find it difficult to give respect and importance to meals and also fail to break our habit of eating unhealthy snacks.
The smart way out is to opt for healthy food snacks. We would love to eat healthy snacks except that healthy snacks are rarely as tasty as junk food. This is to change forever.
