Heritage Family of Auctions

Heritage Auction Galleries offer collectors, investors and dealers a wide range of choices for selling their valuable holdings. Heritage regularly offers several different auction options for collectibles. These auctions feature Heritage Galleries award-winning Interactive Internet eCommerce auction software to maximize bidding interest and prices realized. Consistent interface and passwords are used throughout the Heritage family of auctions so any bidder who has participated in one type of auction may easily participate successfully in all of them.
Your personal Consignment Director will help you determine the best auction for your items. Below is a quick introduction to each auction venue.
Grand Format, Signature and Platinum Night Auctions
Grand Format, Signature and Platinum Night Auctions may be held Heritage's main galleries in Dallas, but usually occur in other cities, often conjunction with major conventions or collector events. Signature Auctions feature a live floor bidding session after all proxy bids are received via the web, fax, phone and mail. Signature Auctions are offered online as well as through a printed catalog, with bids accepted via telephone, fax, Internet, mail and live floor session. Items in the auction include full-color photography and detailed descriptions, all of which are posted online at HA.com along with vast additional information not available in the printed catalog and designed to help bidders make educated purchasing decisions while saving them time.
*Note: After Internet bidding ends, your secret maximum will compete for you against the floor bidders. Place your most realistic bids to have a greater chance of winning against those bidders. Many of our proxy bidders are successful at winning lots in these auctions, and usually below their secret maximum.
Monthly Internet Decorative Arts Auctions
Monthly auctions of Fine and Decorative Arts are presented only online. After Internet bidding closes, live bidding will take place through www.HA.com/Live. Your secret maximum placed prior to the live event will compete against the live bids. To maximize your chances of winning, enter realistic secret maximum bids on our site. You can also place last minute bids directly with us by e-mailing Bid@HA.com or calling 1-866-835-3243. (Important note: Due to software and Internet latency, live bids may not register in time, so enter realistic proxy bids.)
Monthly Internet Marketplace Auctions
Monthly auctions are a hybrid auction that may contain, among other categories, Americana, Books & Manuscripts, Comics & Comic Art, Jewelry, Decorative Arts, Photography, and Entertainment Memorabilia. They are presented only online, and end on the last Wednesday and Thursday of every month. Internet Proxy bidding ends two hours prior to the opening of the live auction for that lot. Check the Time Remaining on individual lots for details. After Internet bidding closes, live bidding will take place through www.HA.com/Live. Jackies by Warhol go to Dallas for Auction
Signature Auction #5004
Jackies by Warhol go to Dallas for AuctionDALLAS -- As news photographs, the 1963 images of Jacqueline Kennedy as a grieving widow touched the nation, reflecting America's mourning after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
For pop artist Andy Warhol, the photos became the catalyst for his "Jackie" works, a series of paintings and screen prints created between 1963 and 1968 that captured the moments before and after the assassination as she was transformed from glamorous first lady to grieving widow.
