Adventure in the Victorian world of the unknown with the Heroes of the Empire!
...HEROES of the EMPIRE are two gentlemen-adventurers with luggage crammed full of strange objects and gadgets, and many a splendid tall-tale of: expeditions in the name of science, enemies of The Empire outwitted, beastly foreigners foiled, and fiendish criminal masterminds brought to justice. These splendid chaps are the super-spies of a more refined age, where steam power, patent leather shoes, and the imagination can carry a plucky fellow to the depths of the ocean, to the centre of the earth or even to the deserts of Mars!
Who are these HEROES OF THE EMPIRE then?
Marvel at the exploits of Major Mordecai Manley-Harthrobbe, and ProfessorAugustus Sidebottom-Farquar; members of The Royal Etheric Order of the Brazen Lens: hear of how on numerous occasions they have saved Her Most Britannic Majesty Queen Victoria from deadly peril, and yet still been home in time to take afternoon tea with the notable persons of the age. You may even get the chance to engage in conversation with England's only live captive Green Martian. Or not, you can never tell.
