I would love to apply for this job, if I didn't have to move to NY. I am currently employed for a profit organization, but having the chance to serve for a non-profit organization, where you can actually make the world around you march at a different tune, that makes a difference.
Best of luck with the search!

Interesting using lens to fill a job position. I think it is especially useful considering you would want your applicant to be informed on squidoo. Very creative.

I like to help people. I think that's the best motivation for this vocation. Helping people is like a religion. It pays one back with monumental returns. I can do some of these splendid jobs but the hardest thing I find in doing this is something called a US visa. I have been refused it three times and they told me I haven't got strong economic connections back home. If owning a piece of land, one small apartment and two young lovely boys and an amazing wife is not 'connection' enough, I am speechless!

Hi sasha..read it first on Seth Godin..your cause or campaign is going to turn into a big Viral Marketing Thread..its already there on twitter and facebook.. i don't know if that was planned or is taking auto route due to existence of such tools..Cheers!!Praveen @pramau on twitter

A thrilling opportunity for a person that loves enabling others to achieve their audacious dreams. Sometimes an audacious dream is to survive, to thrive can come later.

Supporting the Acumen fund is a good work; working with the Acumen team is a chance to leverage your excellence and their stellar results.

    Happy hunting!

the job looks great, but i don't think that any company, non-profit especially, has room for two beautiful bald guys working side by side. best wishes with the search.

David, nothing is impossible. It will be harder to do this job from London, and so the bar would be higher for you in terms of getting the job. So it's up to you.

Sasha, I love this job and believe I had the experience, skills and personality to do it.......but I'm based in London and can't easily relocate to NY right now. From your post above it sounds like this won't work for you, so let me know if you would consider taking someone in this role who is remote or not, so I know if I should consider applying?

    Cheers, David

Because I've found that strategy development has to be done face to face. But my hope is that this person will end up enabling an orchestra of people from around the world to help.

If you're really ready to do it online, why is the position geographically-specific?

I love the way you've formatted the job description and application process. very innovative and expressive of the values you're seeking.

I just want to thank you for your great worldwide work. If I could move to NY, I'd apply in a heartbeat. Since I can't, at least I can tell you about some great tools that may help your cause (that I'm involved with): 1) http://www.bubblcomment.com (free - allows you to add temporary video commentary to any web page and share/sound off to spread the word about such great causes) 2) http://www.bubblejoy.com is a free e-card video service that could be co-branded with your message and shared with your 20,000 fans, or used as is to spread video cheer for free. I hope in some small way you find a use for our tools to help your cause.
