- Is there such a thing as a baby doll anymore, that was what dolls where when I was a child. Barbie was just being introduced to Great Britain when I was a kid. My mum didn't like the idea of a doll being a "woman." My sister did have a "Cindy," but my grandmother gave it to her. Thanks for the information and the nicely illustrated lens.
