The Greeting Card Association states that the average U.S. household purchases 30 individual cards a year. That's about 7 billion greeting cards purchased just in the United States every year. That's a lot of trees. Even if the cards are made of recycled material the ink and processing equipment are not environmentally friendly. As an added benefit you will save some money. If the average cost of a traditional card is $2 - $4 every card sending household would save:Per Year = $60 - $120
5 Years = $300 - $600
10 Years = $600 - $1,200
20 Years = $1,200 - $2,400
30 Years = $1,800 - $3,600
40 Years = $2,400 - $4,800
Wow! That does not even include the cost of stamps.
