The History of Hollywood Dolls

Hollywood Doll - Deborah Kerr: A OOAK LIfe Tribute by Noel Cruz

Late October 2007 while posting the top ten dolls for VikisFinds OOAK Dolls, a particular work of art caught my eye. This particular artist's creation was a one of a kind celebrity portrait doll. Anyone who saw this artist's work could tell it was genuine, and done from the heart. .

The artist who made the tribute doll was Noel Cruz. The portrait doll, "Deborah Kerr: A Life Tribute" was the first Hollywood Doll, and set the standard.

November 7, 2007, Hollywood Dolls on Squidoo became the first one of a kind celebrity doll showcase online. November 16, 2007 the web page was nominated for Lens Of The Day. Over the past three years, literally thousands of people have seen the dolls, learned about the artists, and inspired a trend.
