RD Riccoboni, is a creative and widely published, self taught artist, creating Home and Architectural Portraits since 1978. His colorful masterpieces provide a brilliant perspective and interpretation captured in the rich, painterly style of Impressionism and Abstract Realism. Influenced by painters such as Edward Hopper, David Hockney, Andy Warhol. His acrylics "pop" with an edgy modern vibrancy of sunlight and shadow, revealing the beauty and feeling of architectural and landscape elements.

Order a custom painting of your home by RD Riccoboni. Original paintings are available on paper and canvas and come shipped to you framed.

How Our Studio Commissions Work.

We have products for all budgets. With options of paintings on paper or canvas. After your painting is completed for an addtional fee we can create other unique gifts from the image including a set of personalized greeting cards.

Work begins on your painting once payment and signed contract is received. 50% Deposit or payment in full required to start your painting. We will photograph and email to you the progress of your painting.

Take A Photograph Of What You Would Like Painted. Digital photos should be a minimun of 300 DPI. Email your picture with your order and tell us what size painting you would like to purchase. We will confirm your order and send and invoice you. Once payment is received we begin your painting.

We recommend you send at least two or three photos. On photos of larger buildings or homes take two photos that 'fit' together to get the whole image in.

We will invoice you by Email. You can pay directly through with your credit card or PayPal account. Contact us at director@rdriccoboni.com

Or you can pay by check via regular mail. (US Funds only)

California residents add correct sales tax. (We will let you know how much that is)

Photographs will not be returned be sure to keep a copy for yourself!

If you cannot work through Email send The Photo or Digital Photo File and Payment dierectly to us. Work begins on your hand crafted original painting once payment and signed contract is received.

Pay Online by Email or Mail. We will send contract and invoice you by email and you can pay directly from there.

Original paintings by RD Riccoboni need time to dry and set before shipping. Check your mail in about 3 to 4 weeks for your beautiful framed Painting.

RD Riccoboni retains all copyrights of the created artworks for the purpose of sales, promotion and or advertisement. We never reveal the name or address of any of the collectors, paintings, or private collections we publish.

RD Riccoboni is an insightful, American born artist (California, 1960) influenced by a plethora of sights, sounds, colors, textures and emotion. This self-taught artist acquired his drive and inspiration from encouragement given him by family, friends and public school teachers. Waveny House was constructed in 1912 for the Lewis Lapham family and sits majestically overlooking three hundred acres of Connecticut countryside. The House was designed by W. B. Tubby of Greenwich. The gardens and grounds were laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., of Boston, a well-known landscape architect. Mrs. Lapham named Waveny House after Waveny River in England where Lapham ancestors had once lived.

American Gothic Church by RD Riccoboni. Blue and winter white contrast each other in texture and color. This old historic church is in Trumbull Connecticut. Christ Episcopal Church, Located at the corner of Madison Ave. and Tashua Road, this church building is the oldest in Trumbull today. The Christ Episcopal parish is Trumbull's second oldest congregation. Founded in 1760 at the present site, the original 900 square foot church was replaced in 1790. The current church, (shown in an early picture here), was built in 1846. This church's graveyard dates back to 1766 and contains the family members of many of the early settlers of the "Tashaway" section of old North Stratford.

Coronado Island, California
The Baby del house painted by RD Riccoboni. Located on beautiful Coronado Island in San Diego Bay was built in 1887 by Mrs. Livingston. The theory about why it looks so similar to the Hotel del Coronado is that the Victorian house, built six months prior, was the training ground for the carpenters who built the hotel. The most fascinating thing about the Baby del is that is has only been on Coronado island since 1983. It was moved by boat from San Diego costing $120,000 and six month of planning to orchestrate the moving of the Victorian house from its Sherman Heights neighborhood at 24th and J Streets, to its present site, which had been a tennis court. It is both a San Diego and Coronado landmark.

This 7.8-acre county park is dedicated to the preservation of San Diego's Victorian architecture. Expansion downtown after WWII threatened these structures with demolition on their original sites. Public and private funds paid for the acquisition, relocation, and restoration of these buildings. Now owned by the county, the structures are leased to private and commercial entities responsible for interior renovation and operation in keeping with the park's Victorian theme. Pictured here are The Sherman-Gilbert House, Bushyhead House and Christian House.

Napa Valley Mansion

You Might recognize this house from many movies and TV shows. The Rhine House Completed in 1884 by Architect Albert Schroepfer, Frederick Beringer's residence has beautiful exterior stonework, stained-glass windows and interior wood paneling - all exhibiting exceptional artistry and craftsmanship. When building his 17-room mansion, Frederick wanted to create a California villa that was reminiscent of the family's impressive old German home at Mainz-on-the-Rhine. Built at a cost of about $28,000 (with the 40 panels of stained glass accounting for $6,000, nearly a quarter of total construction costs) the Rhine House is a classic example of ornate Victorian architecture with its many gables, turrets and ornaments.

Grounds bedecked with elaborate gardens and graced with stately 19th Century architecture evoke the Victorian heyday of Beringer and provide a unique glimpse into one of one of Napa Valley 's earliest wineries. The entire winery site was designated a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001 and is the oldest continuously-operating winery in the valley.

A private residence in Fairfield County Connecticut.
This House landmark summer home, which had been designed by New York architect William B. Tubby for Rush Taggart, one of the most famous corporate lawyers of his time. Tubby also designed nearby Waveny House (for the Lapham family, which started the Texaco Oil Company), in New Canaan; Dunellen Hall, in Greenwich; and the original Greenwich Library, as well as mansions on Long Island's famous north shore gold coast and five Carnegie libraries in Brooklyn New York. The original gardens and grounds now lost to surrounding development were laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., of Boston.
