    I do occasionally, and love homemade so much more than store-bought, especially since I started using a pizza stone to bake it. Our favorite homemade recipe uses whole wheat dough and lots of fresh veggies, crunchy tender plus roasted red pepper, but I've been looking for a good Margarita pizza recipe, and yours looks as yummy as the one from our favorite pizzeria, so must try it!

    Really great lens - I've bookmarked it. We eat a lot of pizza, and I have heard that they are not so hard to make and taste better. You have me sold on that pizza stone as well. Oh, but could you please add a pizza crust recipe? (unless I happened to miss it)

    Every friday night we make pizza and have a movie together... I'm sure my kids will aim to be there even as they become teenagers as we've created a tradition we all adore. Everyone gets their favourite; ham and pineapple, ham and olives, pepperoni (some with mushroom), meat lovers, the works and (for me) something with chicken. I love adding satay sauce or using left over lentils and taco meat to one end. Awesome lens of one of the worlds greatest and most versatile foods!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

    Great lens! I made pizza from scratch yesterday. Olives, mushrooms,onions, green peppers! I even made the sauce! I love homemade pizza! Thanks for sharing!

    actually, i like calzone but sometimes the pizza baker is cheating on the works. because the calzone is folded and closed up, there is a possibility that there is less toppings on it. i like the pizza from domino's or pizza hut. i love the homemade pizzas too. i can put lots of anchovies on it.

    Great page! I was really surprised by the video of the white bread crust pizza. I wonder if that would work and really taste okay? maybe some olive oil and spices over the top of the white bread then build the pizza. hmmmm, intriguing, Blessed!

    I make my own pizza and my kids love it. All of our favorite cheese on the pizza is cheddar instead of mozzarella. The kids like the way the mozzarella stretches when hot but they like the taste of cheddar better.

    Also be warned if you go eat pizza in Thailand. A lot of Thai people put ketchup on their pizza.

    Delicious lens - And making your own is super fun - I went through a phase when I'd cheat by making a frozen pizza and "sprucing it up" with lots of other ingredients and spices - the quick and easy way to gourmet pizza. :)

    Thank you also for the delicious recipies that you give here. Home made pizza is an easy to prepare dish that almost everybody likes and that can be frozen without losing its taste. It can be very healthy too.

    Homemade pizzas are the best ever! When I'm feeling a bit lazy I like to use pita bread for a quick and easy crust for individual pizzas. :D

    I used to have a pizza restaurant and our favorite staff pizza was made with loads of garlic, hot pepperoni, onions and anchovies. We lovingly call it our "stinky pizza".

    What a great lens you have here! I like the short but sweet directions and was quite amazed to watch white bread become pizza crust, fascinating--odd little things like that are so enjoyable to me. Fresh basil is a great idea and something I have on hand in summer months--perhaps I will try growing during the rest of the year as well.

    We have homemade pizza most Friday nights & we love it! My teenage boys are experts. They've done pizza so many times that they can handle it all alone. If I'm going out, I just start the dough (in the bread machine) for them hours before I go out.

    Nice lens! I also have a lens you might like on making "Whole Wheat Pizza." I actually make the pizza starting with wheat berries. I use a Blendtec blender to mill the grain.

    Super lens, Robin! My personal favorite favorite is whale pizza. The recipe begins with "Take one whale, clean well...". It's a bit cumbersome to make in a small kitchen though. :-) 5*s

    When we moved to Costa Rica we opened a Pizza Restaurant. It took us several months to learn how to make pizza but the experience was fantastic. We like to add pesto and lots of fresh veggies to our pizzas. Adding less cheese and more veggies makes it healthier and tastier. Thank you for reminding me of this delicious experience.

    DELICIOUS. The problem with these food lenses (much like "Babette's Feast") is that after reading, you simply must have a pizza! Nice job.

    Yum. My favorite food ever. I've just started making my own, so this is a helpful lens.

    Interesting fact: I've been to Italy, but grew up in New Jersey. And know what? The pizza is just as good in NJ as as it in Italia!
