Homelessness is a serious issue worldwide. I believe that raising awareness about homelessness and working to help homeless people is an important task. Many people on Squidoo have taken up this task.
There are many great lenses on Squidoo about charities that help the homeless find housing, food, hope and dignity. There are stories on Squidoo about how to help the homeless and what it's like being homeless. People have drawn from their personal experiences with homelessness either as helpers to the homeless or from being homeless themselves. There are stories of obstacles overcome and challenges yet to be faced by those who are homeless and those fighting homelessness.
