Is A Homemade Water Purifier A Good Idea?

We all need a homemade water purifier! Don't you agree, it is disgusting what we get from our taps these days! We all need clean water, but where to find it? Well, one of the options is a homemade water purifier. The question is just, is it a good idea?

I think I'll have a look at the whole matter and then make up my mind. All I know is, I am giving a homemade water purifier a look because of the saving in costs that is possible if you make one yourself.

If we keep in mind that for many centuries people managed with homemade water purifiers, maybe it is not such a bad idea. After all, what harm can there be in looking into it, right?

OK, OK, I agree, in the olden times, when people had to make do with homemade water purifiers, the water was not as badly polluted as these days, but still, it should be better if you can do it yourself instead of buying one. Have a look, who knows, you may like the idea! I know, I'm giving it serious thought.

Homemade Water Purifier

What is the reason why many of us are looking at a Homemade Water Purifier? Well, of course, the terrible water situation most of us have to deal with. There is hardly a place left on earth where the water is really safe. Even water on farms and spring water, that used to be safe, are polluted these days. So, looking at a Homemade Water Purifier is not an option any more.

One of our options are the drinking of bottled water, only we also have no guarantee that bottled water is safe. A recent study shows that 1 our of 3 bottles of bottled water tested showed some form of contamination by some bacteria. What is worse it seemed to be that the chemicals in it, exceeded the water purification industry's own guidelines or the most stringent state purity standards.

So, I think it is clear that bottled water is not really a safe option. It is true that most bottled water is perfectly safe to drink, but how do you know which are the good ones and which are the bad ones? I have even heard of unscrupulous people bottling tap water and selling it as spring water.

Well, taking all this into account, I think looking at a homemade water purifier may not be such a bad idea at all.

The risk of infection is greatest to infants, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. They are referred to as at-risk individuals. The EPA warns that at-risk individuals should look for a water purifier from research labs certified to filter down to one micron. Otherwise, those who are at-risk should boil everything they drink, use for brushing their teeth or use to wash fresh fruits and vegetables. That's why having the best water cooler which works perfect is essential.
