Homeschooling your children is such a blessing. God gave us our children to raise up and teach and what better way to do that then to teach them at home.
You don't have to be a certified teacher or anything special. there are so many resources out there to help you and get you going.

Just for fun: Books I recommend
Charlotte Mason books have really been what has made me want to homeschool. She is really inspiring. She understands how kids learn and you really get a clear idea and your kids benefit from it well.
